Environment is more than a physical space. It includes the people you surround yourself with, the culture you participate in, and the emotional energy that exists within your daily life and work.
Every environment sets standards. It influences how people behave, how they communicate, and how they perform. When you operate in a healthy environment, growth accelerates because support, trust, and accountability become part of everyday behavior.
In contrast, the wrong environment can quietly drain motivation, creativity, and confidence.

Early in my real estate career, I was constantly chasing the next opportunity. The next deal. The next listing. Long days and unpredictable outcomes created pressure that followed me everywhere.
And every night, I brought that energy home with me.
I didn’t complain or raise my voice. Yet my family could feel it immediately. That’s the power of environment. People sense your emotional state long before you say a word.

Over time, I also became what I call a “just ONE more” person. ONE more email before bed. ONE more text during lunch. ONE more deal before rest. Without realizing it, I created an environment that rewarded constant motion instead of intentional growth.
