‘Grannie Units’ Are All the Rage As Multigenerational Households Grow

"As younger adults face job loss in the hospitality and travel industries, they’re leaving expensive cities and moving back home, for the time being, says Kuba Jewgieniew, CEO and Founder of Realty ONE Group when asked by Forbes about a rise in the sales of multigenerational units or homes shared by two or more generations of a family.
“The uncertainty caused by the Covid pandemic has changed everything, and while real estate is still booming, it’s certainly changed the way we use and envision our homes,” Jewgieniew goes on to say.
